Product Description:

Danaher's H58 series encoder is a compact and economical encoder designed primarily for industrial automation applications requiring precise motion feedback. The H58100011134018 encoder is equipped with a 10mm shaft and a pilot face that includes three M3 mounting apertures on a 48mm bolt circle.

The H58100011134018 encoder offers a two-channel quadrature output with an optional Index (Z) channel and complementary signals, as well as 1000 Pulses Per Revolution (PPR). The phase sense is configured such that, when the shaft is rotated counterclockwise, channel A comes before channel B, as seen from the shaft end. The signal integrity is maintained by maintaining the electrical quadrature phasing at 90 degrees ± 22.5 degrees. The Index signal is controlled by a low channel B that also follows an electrical format of 180 degrees ± 18 degrees, and its symmetry is also rated at 180 degrees ± 18 degrees. A 5V differential line driver that takes input and output voltages between 5 and 26V DC is powered by the 4469 chip. At the very end, there's a 12-pin connector that spins counterclockwise; this is used to terminate. There is no mating connector included with the encoder.

There is a shaft seal that keeps dirt and dust out of the H58100011134018 encoder's internal parts. The storage temperature range is marked from -40°C to +90°C, which means that it will work well in a range of temperatures. The 36mm diameter of the pilot ensures a safe mechanical coupling method for accurate shaft positioning. Vibrations at 20 Gs from 5 to 2000 Hz and shocks of up to 50 Gs for 11 milliseconds are not going to hurt the encoder. These features make it easier for consistent functions to work in environments that change over time. The H58 encoder is made to give a steady output and accurate signal creation in situations where there is constant mechanical stress.
