Product Description:

The Danaher 62-PMDF-0120-TB is an advanced optical incremental encoder. It is a part of the Dynapar Encoders series that is used for precise industrial motion control. This encoder has a resolution of 50 with up to 2540 pulses per revolution, which helps to set the device at 0120 PPR, thus ideal for different applications involving precise positioning. The encoder has the quadrature output, and two channels, which determine the position of the encoder and make it precise and versatile. It has a maximum shaft speed of up to 6000 RPM. This makes it ideal for high-speed industrial applications. This incremental encoder has aluminum housing and possesses both NEMA4/IP65 ratings making it suitable for dust and humid environments that are common in industries.

The encoder has the output signals including 7272 Push-Pull, and 7273 Open Collector output format. The 7272 Push-Pull output enables current sinking and sourcing (up to 40 mA) and this makes the encoder appropriate for different control systems. The 7273 Open Collector output has a maximum sink current of 40 mA. It is commonly used in systems where simplicity and cost-effectiveness are important. It helps to transmit signals efficiently in motion control applications.

A significant characteristic of this optical encoder is its frequency response which is at least 100 kHz for fast data transfer. The index channel that assists in the reference point determination has a minimum operation frequency of 75 kHz with enhanced precision to ensure reliability in the functionality of the encoder despite the existing environmental conditions. This high-frequency resolution is crucial for fast operation as it enables the encoder to work with high-speed motion and provide the position data quickly.
