Product Description
The HS35R102480P7B encoder is designed for industrial automation applications, offering reliable and precise feedback through its incremental, optical code type. This compact unit supports a versatile resolution range from 1 to 2540 PPR (pulses per revolution), making it suitable for different degrees of accuracy across varied applications, since a user can select their best option for it to work well in their specific setting. With output options including configurations such as 7273 Open Collector, 7272 Push-Pull, and 4469 Differential Line Driver, it’s adaptable across diverse control systems. Power input is 5 to 26 VDC, using up to 80 mA. It is also designed with an aluminum housing. The encoder is built to be durable, and this ensures consistent performance, providing robust control in industrial conditions.
This encoder has multiple interfaces, with the inclusion of MS and M12 connectors along with a cable exit providing flexible integration possibilities into different systems. It's designed to operate in a wide range of settings, which is due to its capable frequency response of 100 kHz minimum in standard conditions ( or 75 kHz for extended temperatures). The shaft offers several size options, where you can choose either 1/4 inch or 3/8 inch, while the shaft speed can reach up to a 5000 RPM max. The waveforms produced are square, which have rise and fall times of less than 1 microsecond, which guarantees exact and reliable data across a wide range of uses.
This HS35R102480P7B encoder can operate in temperatures ranging from 0C to +70C under normal use, still going up to +85C extended, while its storage temperature is rated from -40C to +90C, this way it can handle even harsh conditions. The encoder features standard NEMA12/IP54 protection from the environment, with an optional upgrade to NEMA4/IP66 for better protection.
