The HS35R2000E177 hollow-shaft incremental encoder is built by Danaher for the Dynapar Encoders series. It mounts directly on a motor or machine shaft and converts mechanical rotation into two offset square-wave channels plus an index pulse, supplying real-time position and speed feedback to drives, PLCs, and motion controllers used throughout industrial automation. The through-shaft construction simplifies tethered installation on existing equipment while keeping the sensing electronics electrically isolated from the driven shaft.

The encoder provides a resolution of 2000 PPR, so each revolution produces 2,000 pulses for precise velocity regulation. A minimum frequency response of 100 kHz lets control systems track pulses accurately at elevated speeds, and the digital outputs maintain a rise and fall time no greater than 1 µs, preserving clean transitions over long cables. Operating speeds of up to 3600 rpm are permitted before mechanical or electrical limits are reached.
