The HS35R1024D1A7PS is a hollow-shaft incremental encoder produced by Danaher and supplied under the Dynapar Encoders series. Mounted over a 3.5-inch motor shaft with a flexible tether, the unit converts mechanical rotation into square-wave signals for speed regulation, orientation tracking, and closed-loop positioning on conveyors, winders, and packaging axes in industrial automation. Its optical sensing engine and differential drivers allow noise-resistant feedback transmission over long cable runs.
Its native resolution of 1024 PPR means each mechanical turn generates 1,024 evenly spaced pulses, supplying fine granularity for velocity and count-based control. The encoder electronics accept frequencies up to 100 kHz, so high-speed drives can sample the output without missing transitions. The housing is sealed to NEMA 4/IP66, protecting the encoder against washdown fluids and airborne dust on plant-floor machinery.
