Product Description:

The 3201201012 encoder from Dynapar helps industrial machines detect precise movement using its high-resolution direct-read incremental design by Danaher.

This model measures precision inputs from 8192 to 10,000 PPR for high-precision motion systems. This digital encoder uses two-channel AB signals with optional Z output plus complementary outputs to fit many specific system needs. The measurement output shows outstanding precision at 10,000 PPR with maximum accuracy errors reaching ±3.9 arc-seconds for the same channel and ±14 arc-seconds for the opposite channel. The phase detector system makes Channel A lead Channel B during anti-clockwise shaft movement and provides 90degrees ± 25degrees electrical phasing, reliable results. The product accepts multiple power types: 30 VDC push-pull signals plus 5 VDC line drivers at max currents of 60 mA and 40 mA to deliver push-pull currents up to 30 mA plus line driver currents up to 20 mA. The 3201201012 shows high data processing speed because its frequency response hits 200 kHz minimum for push-pull and 300 kHz for line drivers.

The encoder accepts mechanical shafts with 3/8 inches in diameter and withstands 35 pounds radially and 24 pounds axially at a motor speed of 10,000 RPM. This encoder system uses an aluminum body with a stainless steel shaft design built to handle tough conditions. It works between temperatures 0 to 70 degrees C of use and -25 to 90 degrees C when stored. It obtains IP66 sealing and NEMA4 certification, which shows great protection against dust and water. Its durability comes from passing the 50 G shock test and tolerating 2 G vibrations between 5 and 2000 Hz while handling 98% non-condensing humidity. It can be purchased at Wake Industrial with a one-year warranty.
