Product Description:
The HC62536006011 incremental encoder is manufactured by Danaher as part of the Dynapar Encoders series. The unit attaches directly to a motor or line shaft and produces evenly spaced electrical pulses that represent angular movement, allowing drive controllers to regulate speed or detect position in automated assemblies. Its compact servo-frame design and sealed housing make it suitable for harsh factory floors where accurate feedback is required for vector drives, PLC counters, and servo loops.
The encoder supports demanding control loops with a 250 kHz frequency response, allowing compatible high-speed counters to process rapid pulse signals. It can operate at a mechanical speed of up to 10,000 rpm. An optical code disk provides a resolution of 3,600 PPR, enabling precise speed measurement and detailed position tracking. The electronics operate from a supply voltage of up to 26 VDC and draw no more than 80 mA, while the output transistors tolerate line voltages up to 30 VDC for compatibility with common industrial I/O cards. Protection against dust and pressurized water jets is provided by the IP66 enclosure rating. The model has no index channel, so each revolution is represented solely by the incremental A and B quadrature tracks.
Mechanical integration follows a 2.50-inch servo-mount pattern, and a bolt circle of 1.875 inches with three evenly spaced mounting holes secures the flange. The solid shaft measures 3/8 inch in diameter and is supported by precision bearings to maintain concentricity during operation. Signal lines use a single-ended open-collector output that can connect directly to compatible PLC inputs without active line drivers. The interface can sink up to 40 mA, supporting reliable signal switching for connected control equipment. Because the encoder does not include internal pull-up resistors, external components can be selected to suit the voltage and input requirements of the receiving system.
