Product Description:

The H420600 is a shafted Encoder developed by Danaher to perform position detection tasks. This encoder offers incremental optical coding and is housed in a durable shafted design. With a resolution range of 1 to 600 pulses per revolution (PPR), it delivers accurate and stable output signals.

The H420600 shafted encoder is suitable for industrial environments and systems needing dependable encoder performance. This encoder operates using an incremental optical system and features a resolution range of 1 to 600 PPR. This model offers AB quadrature signal along with additional outputs. The phasing between channels A and B is 90° ± 20° electrical and the symmetry is maintained at 180° ± 18° electrical. These signal characteristics ensure compatibility with most motion control systems. This encoder’s squarewave signal has the rise and fall times of less than 1 microsecond when connected to a 1000 pF capacitive load. This encoder uses a 7272 Push Pull and Differential Line Driver output stage that is capable of 40 mA sourcing or sinking. Phase sense is configured such that channel A leads channel B for clockwise rotation of the shaft. The encoder is designed to work on 5 – 26 V DC supply voltage. It consumes 90 mA of current during operation.

This Danaher H420600 shafted encoder supports a minimum frequency response of 100 kHz that enables high speed applications. Noise immunity has been tested to EN61326-1 standards. Electrical immunity of this model includes protection against reverse polarity and short circuits. These features make the Dynapar series shafted encoder reliable under various operating conditions. The encoder must be used with the equipment specified by the manufacturer (Danaher). Also don’t forget to operate it under prescribed conditions.
