The Dynapar Encoder NSRT1024LCSEN is a high-performance motion control rotary encoder that provides electrical resilience, mechanical strength, and precise signal output in most automation and motion control applications. This encoder delivers 1024 pulses per revolution to supply position and speed feedback with high accuracy. This encoder operates by using an input voltage range of 5 to 26 VDC with a 95mA current consumption to promote broad control system compatibility.
The NSRT1024LCSEN Dynapar encoder provides a strong electrical immunity, with full protection against reverse polarity and short circuits to prevent internal damage due to improper wiring or voltage surges. The output of this encoder is powered by an IC-WE differential line driver to provide consistent signal transmission over extended cable lengths. This encoder’s quadrature phasing is accurately controlled at 90° ± 45° to enable precise detection of rotation direction and improve resolution. The signal symmetry of this encoder is preserved at 50% ± 15° to provide balanced high and low states for clean signal processing. The NSRT1024LCSEN encoder has a frequency response of 0 to 180 kHz for both data and index signals, which makes this encoder a suitable option for high-speed applications that require quick response time.
The termination of this Dynapar Encoder NSRT1024LCSEN is managed by an industrial latching connector to provide a secure connection with easy installation and maintenance. This encoder can also work in humidity conditions up to 98% (non-condensing). This encoder can resist up to 18 G's vibrations in the frequency range of 5–2000 Hz and can provide a reliable output even in high-vibrating industrial applications like motors and conveyors. With a storage temperature range between -40°C and +125°C, this encoder is ideal for use in cold storage as well as in hot environments.
