The HS35R1024H39C is a hollow-shaft incremental encoder manufactured by Danaher as part of the Dynapar Encoders series. When coupled to a motor or machine shaft, the unit produces evenly spaced digital pulses that enable motion controllers to monitor rotational position and velocity with precise electronic feedback. This feedback supports industrial automation tasks such as conveyor indexing, coil winding, and cut-to-length control. The hollow hub accommodates shaft extensions from 1.25 in to 2.0 in long, providing flexibility for direct installation on compatible equipment.
Its optical disk generates 1024 PPR, so each pulse represents 0.351° of mechanical rotation. The signal chain supports a minimum frequency response of 100 kHz, which maintains pulse integrity at shaft velocities up to the mechanical limit of 3600 rpm. The bearing design limits running friction to 4.5 oz-in, minimizing drag on light-duty servo spindles, while the sealed housing carries a combined NEMA 4 / IP66 rating that blocks dust and water jets.
