Complete, accurate measurement control is provided by this device using two-channel quadrature (AB) signal outputs together with optional Index (Z) and other signals. When the shaft rotates counterclockwise, the encoder phase sequence makes sure that Signal A advances ahead of Signal B, meeting the requirements of standard industrial equipment. The encoder's IP66 seal rating, which supports washdown requirements as evidenced by its NEMA4/IP66 housing standard, allows it to withstand dust and water.
