Product Description:

This HR62510240341 Encoder relates to the Dynapar Encoders series. Danaher is the leading manufacturer of these encoders which provides precise motion feedback, resists shock and vibration and has flexible electrical interfacing.

This HR62510240341 encoder generates pulses as the shaft rotates which provides relative position and speed feedback. It uses a light source and photodetector to detect shaft rotation and deliver high accuracy and resolution. It outputs 1024 pulses for every full turn of the shaft. This module has input voltage range between 5-26 VDC which makes it compatible with a variety of control systems. It is able to output 5-26 VDC which is matching input voltage range and ensures signal compatibility. The module can generate pulses faster with speed of 100 kHz which means it supports high speed applications. It comes with a duty cycle 45-55% which indicates the balance between high and low states in each pulse. It is featured with a military style circular connector with 10 pins which is robust and widely used. This module has reverse polarity protection which protects it if the power is accidentally wired backward.

This HR62510240341 encoder has a flange mounting type which is a standard and secure way to attach the encoder to a machine or motor. It comes with a 9.525 mm (or 3/8 inch) shaft which is important for mechanical compatibility. It uses a detachable connector for wiring which is easy to install and replace. It has the capability to accurately track shaft rotation up to 10,000 RPM which determines its maximum operating speed. It confirms EMC standards for industrial automation environments which ensures reliable operation near electrical noise.
