Product Description:
The E150750A733 incremental encoder is built by Danaher within the Dynapar Encoders series. The unit is intended for industrial automation systems that require real-time rotary feedback, converting shaft rotation into synchronized digital pulse trains. Its three-channel ABZ output lets motion controllers track position and direction, while the integrated line driver maintains signal integrity over extended cable runs. When attached to a motor or conveyor shaft, the device supports closed-loop speed regulation, indexing, and homing functions across packaging, material-handling, and general factory machinery.
High-speed counting is supported by a data frequency response of at least 100 kHz, while the dedicated index channel has a frequency response of at least 50 kHz for precise zero-reference detection. The code disk provides 750 PPR, so each mechanical revolution produces 750 quadrature cycles. At the allowable shaft speed of 5000 rpm, the encoder generates 62,500 quadrature cycles per second and up to 250,000 edge transitions per second when all four quadrature edges are counted. Output drivers can sink or source up to 40 mA, matching typical differential receiver requirements. The outputs maintain quadrature phasing of 90° ±36° electrical, with symmetry held to 180° ±18° electrical for balanced duty cycles.
The electronics operate from a regulated 5 VDC ±5% source, and total current draw remains below 210 mA, allowing direct connection to common control-cabinet power rails. The line-driver format provides RS-422-compatible levels and delivers an ABZ signal set for deterministic counting in either direction of rotation. A NEMA 12/IP54 enclosure resists airborne dust and splashing fluids. The stainless-steel shaft tolerates loads of up to 5 lb radially and 3 lb axially, accommodating belt tension or coupling overhang. The index width is 360° ±90° electrical, providing a broad reference window once during each mechanical revolution.
