The XCS Single Axis ctrlX Converters series is a Bosch Rexroth ctrlX DRIVE family of single-axis converters built around an integrated mains rectifier, DC bus, and inverter stage with motor output.

Depending on the version, the power section can include a braking transistor or an integrated braking transistor and braking resistor, and it can also be paired with an external braking resistor for additional energy dissipation. The series is available with air-internal or coldplate cooling, supports maximum current classes from 10 A up to 375 A, and is designed for IP20 operation on 3-phase AC 200 to 500 V input power. Control-section options include ctrlX DRIVE and ctrlX DRIVEplus, with communication configurations such as Multi-Ethernet, Multi-Ethernet with ctrlX OS, ctrlX CORE, and DRIVElink, plus protocol support for Sercos III, EtherCAT, and PROFINET IO. The platform also supports safety and expansion features such as Safe Torque Off, SafeMotion, multi-encoder interfaces, digital and analog I/O extension options, and technology app functions tied to the selected runtime package.
