The XCS2-W0023ARN-01NETT0NNNN-S04RSN1NNNP0NN is a Generation 2 single-axis converter in the XCS Single Axis ctrlX Converters series from Bosch Rexroth Indramat. As part of the ctrlX DRIVE automation platform, the unit conditions three-phase mains power and supplies regulated AC power to a connected motor. This conversion supports controlled torque and speed in packaging equipment, material-handling systems, and general industrial machinery. Its single-axis design provides the power and control functions required for one motor within a compact cabinet installation.
The input section accepts 3 × AC 200 to 500 V, +10%/-15%, allowing the converter to operate on a broad range of industrial power systems without an autotransformer. A continuous output current of 23 A supports sustained motor operation within the converter’s current capacity. Heat is removed through internal air cooling, which moves cabinet air across the heat sink without requiring external cooling ducts. The enclosure has an IP20 degree of protection and is intended for installation inside a clean control cabinet. The unit uses the Standard runtime environment with the DRIVE Runtime Productivity scope at Version 04 for XCS2 devices. This runtime release supports productivity applications but does not include a dedicated technology function application.
Network communication is available through Multi-Ethernet ports, which support integration with compatible industrial control networks. Motion commands can also be transmitted through Sercos III for synchronized communication between the converter and a higher-level controller. Hardware Option 1 provides SafeMotion functionality, including Safe Torque Off when the STO channels open. The power section contains an integrated braking transistor and braking resistor, allowing regenerated DC-bus energy to be dissipated during rapid deceleration. The converter is supplied without a motor connector set, so the required connection hardware must be selected for the motor and cable arrangement. It also comes without a front panel, leaving operation and display functions to an external control interface. An export license is not required because the maximum output frequency remains below 599 Hz.
