Product Description:
The XCS2-W0210ABN-01NETT0ECNN-S03RSN1NNNN0NN is a single-axis converter from the Bosch Rexroth Indramat XCS Single Axis ctrlX Converters series. Supplied as a Generation 2 ctrlX DRIVE unit, it regulates the torque, speed, and position of one motor in a modular automation system. The converter combines power electronics, motion control, and integrated safety functions in one housing. It operates between a three-phase mains supply and a compatible synchronous or induction motor, providing controlled power for applications that require accurate movement and repeatable speed regulation.
The converter accepts a supply of 3 × AC 200 to 500 V, +10%/-15% and can deliver up to 210 A to the connected motor. Heat is removed through an internal airflow path, allowing the power electronics to operate without external cooling ducts. The front of the housing has an IP20 rating, so the unit must be mounted inside a closed switchgear cabinet that prevents contact with internal electrical components. Motion commands and diagnostic information can travel through Multi-Ethernet communication, allowing connection to supported industrial Ethernet networks. The unit also supports the real-time Sercos III fieldbus for synchronized communication with a higher-level motion controller. Its maximum output frequency remains below 599 Hz, while operation and parameter access are handled remotely because the converter does not include a front-mounted operating panel.
The power section includes a braking transistor that controls the dissipation of regenerated energy when the connected motor decelerates. Integrated Safe Torque Off (STO) removes torque-producing power from the motor when the safety function is activated. This function is implemented through the SafeMotion option in the first hardware slot, allowing the drive to perform a controlled safety response without relying solely on an external power contactor. The second option slot contains a multi-encoder interface, which allows compatible motor and position feedback signals to be processed by the drive. The third option slot is unoccupied, and the converter is supplied without a motor connector set, so the required connection hardware must be selected separately for the installation.
