Product Description:
The XCS2-W0054ARN-02AX3T0NNET-S04RSN0NNNN0NN is a single-axis power converter produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the XCS Single Axis ctrlX Converters series. It is a Generation 2 ctrlX DRIVE device designed to govern one servo or induction motor in industrial automation systems. The converter adjusts its inverter output to match the motion and torque requirements of the connected axis. Integration with the broader ctrlX control architecture allows the device to exchange commands, operating data, and diagnostic information with other automation components.
The power section accepts a three-phase supply of AC 200 to 500 V, +10%/-15% and can deliver up to 54 A to the connected motor. Internal air cooling keeps semiconductor temperatures within operating limits during continuous use. The housing has an IP20 protection rating and is intended for installation inside a control cabinet. Communication with the supervisory control layer is handled through the ctrlX CORE interface, which provides access to the surrounding ctrlX automation environment. A built-in braking transistor and braking resistor dissipates regenerative energy returned by the motor during deceleration without requiring separate braking hardware. The unit is supplied with a front panel for local parameter access, but the motor connector set is not included, allowing cabling to be selected for the machine layout and motor interface.
Application-specific communication is supported through the Multi-Ethernet option, which accommodates several industrial Ethernet protocols without separate communication modules. Axis safety is provided by a certified Safe Torque Off (STO) channel that removes torque-producing power when activated. This safety channel also supports the foundation of the available SafeMotion functions for applications that require controlled machine states. The standard ctrlX software environment exposes the motion kernel through DRIVE Runtime services, allowing drive functions to interact with the control platform. The installed software release is Version 04 (XCS2), which identifies the release level associated with this converter generation.
