Product Description:
The XCS2-W0150ABN-02AETT0ECNN-S05RSN1TE1N0NN is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the XCS Single Axis CtrlX Converters series. This Generation 2 ctrlX DRIVE single-axis converter conditions three-phase mains power for precise motor operation in industrial automation systems. It can host application code directly on the drive, reducing the need to transfer every processing task to a higher-level controller. The converter supports controlled motion in conveyors, pick-and-place stations, material-handling equipment, and other automated machinery.
The power stage uses ctrlX DRIVEplus control hardware and accepts a supply of 3 x AC 200 to 500 V, +10%/-15%. Forced air moves through the housing to remove heat generated by the power electronics during continuous operation. The converter provides a continuous output current of up to 150 A, allowing it to operate high-torque servomotors within the available power range. A braking transistor in the power section dissipates regenerated energy produced when a connected motor decelerates. The enclosure has an IP20 degree of protection, making it suitable for installation inside a protected control cabinet. The unit is supplied without a motor connector set, allowing cabling to be selected according to the motor and machine connection requirements.
Network communication is provided through Multi-Ethernet links, while a dedicated Sercos interface supports real-time motion telegrams. Communication with compatible higher-level motion controllers can also use Sercos III. Hardware option 1 provides Safe Torque Off (STO) in accordance with the SafeMotion profile, allowing motor torque generation to be disabled through the integrated safety function. Additional motion functions can be licensed through the DRIVE Runtime environment, and Technology Apps can be uploaded to expand the available application features. Encoded position signals are accepted through the multi-encoder interface included with hardware option 2. A factory-fitted operating panel provides direct access to drive parameters, and the maximum output frequency remains below 599 Hz.
