Product Description:

The XCS2-W0010ARN-02ADLT0ECNN-S04RSN2TF1N0NN is a single-axis converter from Bosch Rexroth Indramat in the XCS Single Axis CtrlX Converters series. As a Generation 2 ctrlX DRIVE device, it conditions three-phase mains power and supplies regulated current to one motor so that assembly, packaging, and handling axes follow controller commands. Power electronics, SafeMotion circuitry, and a detachable operator panel are combined in a cabinet-mounted housing suitable for protected industrial installations.

The enclosure has an IP20 protection rating and uses internal air cooling that draws cabinet air across the heat sink. The power stage accepts a supply of 3 × AC 200–500 V, +10%/-15%, allowing direct connection to many global power systems without transformers. It can deliver up to 10 A of RMS output current to the motor terminals. An operator panel displays operating data and parameter menus, providing local access to drive settings and status information. EtherCAT networks are supported through the EtherCAT (SoE) protocol for cyclic setpoint exchange and diagnostic communication. The maximum fundamental output frequency is below 599 Hz. DRIVE Runtime supervises the control loops and operates in the standard runtime environment.

The DRIVElink backplane bus supports power distribution and DC-link sharing between neighboring axes managed by the ctrlX DRIVEplus control hardware. Functional safety is provided by a dual-channel Safe Torque Off (STO) circuit that meets the SafeMotion option 1 requirement. When activated, this circuit prevents the drive from generating motor torque without requiring the complete removal of mains power. Dynamic deceleration energy is dissipated by the integrated braking transistor and braking resistor, reducing the need for an external resistor with moderate-inertia loads. The option 2 interface supports feedback from multiple encoders, while option 3 is not installed. The converter is supplied without a motor connector set, but its cabinet terminal block supports standard power and control wiring practices. Technology Function Apps can be added through the supported application framework to extend drive behavior for compatible automation tasks.
