Product Description:
The XCS2-W0010ARN-01AETT0ECNN-S05RSN2NNNN0NN is a single-axis converter in the XCS Single Axis ctrlX Converters series produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat. Classified as a second-generation ctrlX DRIVE unit, it converts three-phase mains power into regulated output for compatible servo or induction motors. Its integrated power electronics and control functions allow an automation controller to coordinate torque, speed, and position on one mechanical axis. The compact arrangement reduces the number of separate components required in control cabinets for packaging lines, material-handling cells, and other automated machinery.
The converter accepts a three-phase supply of 3 x AC 200 to 500 V, +10%/-15%. Its output stage provides a continuous motor current of 10 A for sustained operation within the drive’s electrical limits. Heat is removed through internal air cooling, with a fan directing airflow across the heat sinks inside the enclosure. The housing carries an IP20 protection rating, which guards against accidental finger contact with internal electrical components but does not provide dust or water protection. Motion commands and operating data are exchanged through EtherCAT with SoE, providing real-time communication with the ctrlX DRIVE control hardware. A front-mounted operating panel supports local parameter entry and access to drive information without requiring a separate display.
The converter includes a certified Safe Torque Off (STO) channel that disables torque-producing power without requiring external power contactors. SafeMotion hardware option 1 expands the available safety functions, while a multi-encoder interface supports compatible motor and position feedback devices. A Multi-Ethernet interface provides connectivity for supported industrial Ethernet networks and allows the converter to communicate with higher-level machine controls. Energy returned during motor deceleration is managed by an integrated braking transistor and braking resistor, which dissipate regenerative energy when the DC bus voltage rises. The unit operates with the DRIVE Runtime functional scope in a standard industrial operating environment. Its maximum output frequency remains below 599 Hz, so an export license is not required for this frequency range. The supplied configuration does not include a motor connector set, technology function application, or additional special features.
