The XCS2-W0054ARN-01AETT0ECNN-S04RSN2NNNP0NN single-axis converter belongs to the XCS Single Axis ctrlX Converters series and is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat. As a Generation 2 ctrlX DRIVE unit, it forms the power stage between the plant’s three-phase supply and a compatible servo or induction motor. The converter delivers regulated voltage and current for speed, torque, and position control in automated machinery, including handling systems, packaging equipment, and coordinated production axes.
The device operates with an input range of 3 × AC 200–500 V (+10%/-15%), allowing connection to a broad range of three-phase supply systems without an external transformer. The power stage provides a continuous output current of 54 A for sustained motor operation and demanding acceleration profiles. Heat is removed through internal air cooling, so the control cabinet must provide adequate airflow around the converter. The housing has an IP20 protection rating, which guards against accidental finger contact with hazardous internal parts but requires installation inside a protected enclosure. Functional safety is provided by Safe Torque Off (STO), which prevents torque-producing energy from reaching the motor when the safety function is activated.
The built-in Multi-Ethernet interface supports integration with compatible industrial communication networks and machine control systems.
