Product Description:
The XCS2-W0100ABN-01NETT0ECNN-S04RSN2NNNN0NN is a single-axis converter produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the XCS Single Axis ctrlX Converters series. As a Generation 2 ctrlX DRIVE module, it serves as the power stage between a motion controller and a servo or induction motor in automated machinery. The unit converts three-phase mains power into regulated motor output and provides current control for an individual axis. This design supports coordinated positioning, feed-drive operation, and speed regulation in production equipment. Its single-axis configuration allows the connected controller to manage torque and motion according to the programmed machine cycle.
The converter accepts a three-phase 200–500 V AC input with a tolerance of +10%/-15% and can deliver up to 100 A of motor current through its integrated power electronics. The internal protection rating is IP20, so the device must be installed inside a switchgear cabinet that provides the required enclosure protection. Heat is removed through internal air cooling, eliminating the need for liquid cooling circuits or external heat sinks. A built-in braking transistor manages regenerated energy during rapid motor deceleration. The converter is supplied without an operating panel or motor connector set and uses ctrlX DRIVE control hardware. Hardware option 2 provides a multi-encoder interface for connecting supported motor feedback devices.
The device supports Multi-Ethernet networking and is configured for EtherCAT (SoE) cyclic data exchange with the motion controller. Functional safety includes Safe Torque Off (STO), which prevents torque-producing motor current when the safety function is activated. SafeMotion capabilities are available through hardware option 1 for applications requiring additional integrated motion-safety functions. The converter uses the Standard runtime environment with the DRIVE Runtime functional scope. It corresponds to Version 04 of the XCS2 platform. Export licensing is not required because the maximum output frequency remains below 599 Hz. No technology function application is preinstalled, allowing the converter to operate with its standard drive functions and the selected control configuration.
