Product Description:
The XCS2-W0150ABN-01AETT0NNNN-S04RSN1NNNN0NN is a Generation 2 single-axis converter in the XCS Single Axis ctrlX Converters series produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat. Within the ctrlX DRIVE platform, the unit conditions three-phase mains power and manages motor current so that automated machine axes can accelerate, decelerate, and hold position with closed-loop accuracy. Electronic torque control supports controlled motion in packaging lines, material-handling stations, and general automation cells. The single-axis design provides power conversion and motor regulation for one connected axis within a cabinet-mounted drive system.
The converter accepts an input of 3 × AC 200–500 V (+10%/-15%), and its power section can deliver up to 150 A of RMS output current to the connected motor. Internal heat is removed through internal air cooling, which directs airflow across the drive electronics during operation. The electronics are housed in an enclosure rated at IP20, so the device must be installed inside a suitable control cabinet. Field network communication is handled through Multi-Ethernet interfaces, allowing the converter to use supported Ethernet-based protocols without an additional communication module. A supplied operating panel provides local access for parameter entry and status review. The fundamental output frequency remains below 599 Hz, so export licensing is not required for this model.
The power stage includes a braking transistor that controls the dissipation of regenerated energy during motor deceleration. Motion safety includes Safe Torque Off (STO), which prevents torque-producing motor current when the safety function is activated. Hardware Option 1 adds the SafeMotion package for supported safety-related motion functions. Axis communication over SERCOS III provides deterministic data exchange with compatible Rexroth controllers. Software Version 04 (XCS2) operates in the Standard runtime environment with the DRIVE Runtime functional scope. The converter is supplied with a panel for local operation, while the required motor connector set must be obtained separately for the intended installation.
