Product Description:
The XCS2-W0120ABN-01NETT0ECNN-S04RSN2NNNN0NN is a single-axis converter in the XCS Single Axis ctrlX Converters series from Bosch Rexroth Indramat. It belongs to the ctrlX DRIVE Generation 2 platform and modulates three-phase power for precise speed and torque control of servo or induction motors in automated machinery. By integrating power electronics and safety circuitry, the unit supplies regulated motor voltage for transport, packaging, and material-handling stations throughout a production cell. Its single-axis design allows one motor to be controlled independently within a coordinated automation system.
The converter is built on the ctrlX DRIVE hardware platform, so its power and control sections share mechanical dimensions with other modules in that family. The input stage accepts a three-phase AC supply from 200 to 500 V, with a tolerance of +10% to -15%, allowing installation on a broad range of industrial power systems without an autotransformer. During continuous operation, it can supply up to 120 A of phase current to the motor terminals. An internal air-cooling circuit directs enclosure air through the heat sink, eliminating the need for an external blower. The drive has an IP20 protection rating, which protects against accidental finger contact but requires installation inside a suitable cabinet. The panel and motor connector set are not included, allowing the appropriate interface and cabling components to be selected for the application.
The converter provides Multi-Ethernet connectivity, and compatible systems can operate the axis through EtherCAT (SoE) for deterministic command and status exchange. Position feedback enters through the optional multi-encoder interface, allowing the controller to process motor position and velocity signals. Regenerated energy is managed by an internal braking transistor, which switches braking energy to a suitable resistor during deceleration. SafeMotion provides Safe Torque Off (STO), which disables motor-producing torque by removing gate-control signals through the certified safety channel. The converter runs Version 04 (XCS2) of the DRIVE Runtime environment. Its maximum output frequency remains below 599 Hz, so the product does not require an export license based on that frequency threshold.
