Product Description:
The XCS2-W0120ABN-01AETT0NNNN-S03RSN2NNNN0NN is a Generation 2 single-axis converter produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the XCS Single Axis ctrlX Converters series. Integrated ctrlX DRIVE hardware governs the power section, allowing the module to convert three-phase mains power into controlled motor voltage and current for precise motion in automated machinery. The converter fits standard electrical cabinets and is supplied with an installed panel but without a motor connector set, allowing application-specific connectors to be selected for the field wiring.
The power input accepts three-phase AC 200–500 V with a tolerance of +10% and −15%, and the drive can deliver up to 120 A of output current for dynamic loads. Heat is removed through internal air cooling, which draws cabinet air across the electronics. The housing has an IP20 protection rating and is intended for installation inside an electrical enclosure. Control communication uses EtherCAT (SoE) for cyclic command and status exchange with the automation controller. The standard runtime environment provides DRIVE Runtime functionality at Version 03 for the XCS2 platform. Export licensing is not required because the converter’s maximum output frequency remains below 599 Hz.
A Multi-Ethernet interface provides additional network flexibility for integration with compatible industrial control systems. The safety function includes Safe Torque Off, which prevents torque-producing energy from reaching the connected motor when the function is activated. This capability is implemented through the certified Hardware option 1 SafeMotion package, supporting safety-related motion control within the drive. The power stage includes a built-in braking transistor for controlled dissipation of regenerated energy during rapid deceleration. No technology function applications are preinstalled, so the runtime license remains limited to DRIVE Runtime functions.
