Product Description:
The XCS2-W0100ABN-01AETT0ECNN-S03RSN2NNNP0NN is a single-axis converter produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the XCS Single Axis ctrlX Converters series. Classified as a ctrlX DRIVE Generation 2 device, it conditions incoming three-phase power and modulates the voltage and frequency supplied to a connected motor. This power conversion supports precise torque, speed, and position control in automated production machinery. When combined with compatible ctrlX DRIVE components, the converter processes axis commands and coordinates its control functions with the broader motion system.
The unit accepts a three-phase input of 3 × AC 200–500 V, +10%/-15% and can deliver up to 100 A to the connected motor. Its broad input range supports installation on several common industrial power networks without requiring a separate voltage-conversion stage. Heat is removed through an internal airflow path, while the IP20 housing is intended for installation inside a protected control cabinet. A built-in braking transistor allows regenerated energy from rapid deceleration to be directed to an external braking resistor. The converter is supplied with a panel for local operation and parameter access. A motor connector set is not included, allowing the connection hardware to be selected for the required motor cable and cabinet arrangement.
The control interface provides Multi-Ethernet connectivity for integration with supported industrial communication networks. Real-time axis data can be exchanged through EtherCAT with SoE, allowing an upstream motion controller to transmit commands and receive operating information with deterministic timing. Functional safety includes Safe Torque Off (STO), which prevents torque-producing motor current when the safety function is activated. Hardware option 1 adds SafeMotion functions for drive-level safety monitoring, while the multi-encoder interface supports feedback from compatible encoder systems. Hardware option 3 is not installed, so supplementary input and output functions associated with that option are unavailable. The software is supplied as Version 03 for XCS2 and operates in the Standard environment with DRIVE Runtime Productivity functionality. No technology function application is loaded into the runtime profile.
