The XCS2-W0070ARN-02AETT0ECNN-S04RSN1NNNN0NN is a Generation 2 single-axis converter built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the XCS Single Axis ctrlX Converters series. As a ctrlX DRIVE component, it conditions incoming mains power and regulates motor torque, speed, and position for one axis in an automated machine. Its compact format supports installation in control cabinets where available mounting space is limited. The converter also integrates with Ethernet-based control architectures used for coordinated machine operation and communication.
The converter accepts a three-phase supply of 3 × AC 200 to 500 V, +10%/-15% and can deliver up to 70 A of output current to the connected motor. An internal air-cooling system removes heat without requiring external ducting. The IP20 protection level shields users from contact with live components while allowing installation inside a suitable cabinet. System communication is handled through a Multi-Ethernet interface, which supports connections to various industrial networks. The supplied panel provides local access to the converter, while the motor connector set is omitted from this configuration. Hardware option 2 adds a multi-encoder interface for processing compatible motor and position feedback signals. Hardware option 3 is not installed. The power section contains an integrated braking transistor and braking resistor, allowing regenerated energy to be dissipated during controlled deceleration without separate braking hardware. Real-time motion commands can be exchanged through the Sercos III protocol or through other compatible Ethernet protocols supported by the communication interface. Control functions run on ctrlX DRIVEplus hardware with the Standard DRIVE Runtime functional scope. No technology function applications are preinstalled, so the available control behavior follows the base runtime profile.
