The XCS2-W0070ARN-02AETT0ECNN-S04RSN1TE1N0NN single-axis converter is built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the XCS Single Axis ctrlX Converters series. As a Generation 2 ctrlX DRIVE device, it supplies closed-loop power and motion control to one motor by combining power electronics, safety functions, and fieldbus interfaces in a compact frame. In production lines and material-handling cells, the unit links directly to higher-level PLCs to regulate speed, torque, and position without requiring additional drive modules. Its single-axis configuration is suitable for machinery that requires coordinated motion from an independently controlled motor.
The power section accepts a three-phase supply of 3 × AC 200–500 V with a tolerance of +10%/-15%. It can deliver up to 70 A of output current, allowing it to operate motors in the medium-power class without derating. An integrated braking transistor and braking resistor dissipate regenerated energy without requiring an external brake chopper. The enclosure has an IP20 protection rating, making live parts finger-safe when the converter is installed in a switchgear cabinet. Internal airflow removes heat without external water lines or a separate liquid-cooling circuit. Communication with plant networks is provided through a Multi-Ethernet interface, which supports integration with compatible industrial control systems.
