Product Description:
The XCS2-W0150ABN-01AETT0ECNN-S05RSN2NNNN0NN is a Generation 2 single-axis converter produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the XCS Single Axis CtrlX Converters series. It combines ctrlX DRIVE control hardware with power electronics to supply adjustable three-phase power and motion commands to a single servo or induction motor. In production lines, packaging stations, and material-handling systems, the converter links higher-level PLCs to the motor while executing velocity, position, and torque control loops. Embedded safety and diagnostic functions help protect the connected equipment and support fault monitoring during operation.
The converter operates on a three-phase supply of 3 × AC 200 to 500 V, +10%/-15% and can deliver up to 150 A of output current to the connected motor. Heat is removed through internal air circulation, while the housing has an IP20 rating that requires installation inside a suitable control cabinet. Network traffic is managed through the built-in Multi-Ethernet interface, and real-time drive commands are exchanged over EtherCAT (SoE). The unit uses DRIVE Runtime with a Standard functional scope for motion-control tasks. Its maximum output frequency remains below 599 Hz.
The power section incorporates a braking transistor that manages regenerated energy during deceleration, allowing the axis to stop without an external braking chopper. Safety functions include certified Safe Torque Off (STO) and the Hardware Option 1 SafeMotion package, which can disable motor torque rapidly when a fault is detected. Feedback flexibility is expanded through an optional multi-encoder interface, allowing the drive to work with multiple compatible feedback systems. A factory-installed operating panel provides local access for parameter entry and drive setup. The converter is supplied without a motor connector set, allowing the required cabling and connectors to be selected for the machine installation.
