Product Description:
The XCS2-W0150ABN-02AETT0ECEM-S06RSN2NNNN0NN is a Generation 2 ctrlX DRIVE single-axis converter produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the XCS Single Axis ctrlX Converters series. It conditions three-phase mains power for use by a connected servo or induction motor. The regulated motor output supports precise speed and torque control in automated machinery, including coordinated production axes, material-handling systems, and machine tools.
The converter accepts a three-phase input of 200–500 V AC with a tolerance of +10/-15%. Its power stage can deliver up to 150 A of output current to the connected motor. Thermal management uses internal air cooling, so cabinet airflow must pass through the unit without requiring an external heat exchanger. The housing has an IP20 protection rating and must be installed inside a suitable switchgear enclosure. A built-in braking transistor manages regenerated energy during rapid motor deceleration when connected to an appropriate braking resistor. The certified Safe Torque Off (STO) channel prevents torque-producing power from reaching the motor when the safety function is activated. A front panel provides local access to operating information and drive parameters. The converter is supplied without a motor connector set, allowing the required connections to be selected for the motor and cable arrangement used in the machine.
Signal integration is provided through EtherCAT (SoE) and the broader Multi-Ethernet communication stack, allowing real-time command and status exchange with compatible control platforms. Motion commands are processed by the ctrlX DRIVEplus control hardware, which operates with the DRIVE Runtime package in the Standard runtime environment. SafeMotion hardware option 1 supports advanced drive-based safety functions in addition to the base STO channel. A multi-encoder interface accepts feedback from compatible single-turn, multi-turn, and linear measuring devices without requiring an external feedback converter. No technology function app is preinstalled, so application-level processing remains with the host controller. The unit also has no adaptation modules installed, leaving the available runtime functions aligned with the standard DRIVE Runtime package.
