The KSM Servo Motor Series is part of the Rexroth IndraDrive platform with the IndraDrive Mi.
There are two types of KSM Servo Motors: KSM01 and KSM02. These motors consist of two main parts: the servo motor and the electronic system consisting of control and power sections. The firmware needed to operate this drive is MPB-04V20. These drives are equipped with an integrated encoder system. The master communication of the KSM01 series is SERCOS 2 and the KSM02 series is Multi-Ethernet. The KSM Series can connect with the KCU Electronic Control System which allows for communication between the KSM and the higher-level control unit.
