Product Description:
The KSM02.1B-071C-35N-S1-HG0-ET-SD-D7-NN-FW is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as part of the KSM Motor Integrated Servo Drives series. This motor-integrated servo drive combines the inverter, control logic, and permanent-magnet servo motor in one enclosure, allowing motion control to move from the cabinet to the machine frame and reducing the number of cabinet-mounted components. In automated assembly lines, conveyors, and packaging stations, the unit delivers closed-loop torque and velocity regulation close to the load, which minimizes cable runs and keeps decentralized axes compact.
Electrical power is supplied at DC 750 V, a common intermediate-circuit level that lets the device share a bus with other Rexroth converters. Field wiring is consolidated in a Hybrid Connector that carries power, control, and safety signals through a single plug, and heat is removed by natural convection, eliminating fans and external cooling circuits. Position feedback travels over the Hiperface serial interface with 128 signal periods per motor revolution, giving the controller fine interpolation capability. Communication to the machine network is provided through Multi-Ethernet, enabling SERCOS III, EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, and EtherCAT without hardware changes. The unit is design version 1, uses the standard mechanical option, and belongs to series 2. Safe Motion with SBC is included for functional safety. The performance level is Basic for general-purpose servo axes.
The motor is built on frame size 071 with length code C, giving a compact body that fits confined mounting envelopes. The encoder is single-turn, and the optical sensing method avoids magnetic drift during temperature swings. Output torque is delivered through a plain shaft with a shaft seal for resistance to dust and fluid ingress. The winding code is 35, and the drive is supplied without a holding brake, so static loads must be held by drive torque or external clamps.
