Product Description:
The KSM02.1B-061C-61N-M1-HG2-ET-SD-D7-NN-FW is a motor-integrated servo drive built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the KSM Motor Integrated Servo Drives series. By placing the inverter, control electronics, and a 061-frame permanent-magnet motor in one housing, the device decentralizes axis control and reduces cabinet wiring. It is intended for automated handling lines, packaging cells, and compact conveyors where accurate velocity and position control are required. This integrated layout places the drive electronics directly at the axis, which shortens motor cable runs and reduces the amount of cabinet hardware needed elsewhere on the machine.
The drive operates from DC 750 V and uses a single Hybrid Connector for power and signal routing. Heat is removed by natural convection, so the unit does not require fans or liquid cooling circuits. Command and diagnostic data are transmitted through Multi-Ethernet, allowing the controller to use EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, or EtherCAT, while rotor position is returned over the Hiperface interface. It uses the standard design option with design version 1 and hardware series 2. Motor size 061, length C, and winding code 61 match the electromagnetic setup used for the Basic performance level and medium-duty operation.
An electrically released holding brake engages automatically when the 24 V DC coil is de-energized, helping secure the axis during a power loss. Integrated functional safety is provided by Safe Motion (with SBC), which monitors speed and standstill functions inside the unit. Position feedback comes from an optical encoder with 128 signal periods per mechanical revolution, and multi-turn absolute data keeps position information available after shutdown. That arrangement also supports restart behavior where a separate homing move is not desirable. The motor uses a plain shaft with a factory-installed shaft seal, so torque can be transferred while limiting dust or oil entry at the shaft opening.
