Product Description:
The KSM02.1B-071C-35N-S1-HG2-ET-L3-D7-NN-FW is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as part of the KSM Motor Integrated Servo Drives series. This motor-integrated unit combines power electronics, feedback, and a permanent-magnet actuator in one housing. This arrangement places motion control directly on the axis, reduces cabinet wiring, and keeps the actuator, feedback, and drive section in one assembly for automated cells and conveyor modules.
The drive is supplied from a DC 750 V bus, matching Rexroth decentralized power topologies. Power and fieldbus wiring enter through a single Hybrid Connector, leaving only one cable run between the cabinet and motor. Position feedback is generated by an optical encoder that transmits through the Hiperface interface with 128 signal periods of resolution and single-turn capability, giving absolute position after power-up without mechanical homing. Real-time data exchange with controllers is handled by a Multi-Ethernet master link that supports Sercos, EtherNet/IP, EtherCAT, and PROFINET on the same hardware. Heat from the winding set is released through natural convection, so no fan or liquid circuit is required. The unit is design version 1 and uses the series 2 mechanical envelope. It has length code C and winding code 35, and the performance level is basic for general-purpose axes. A standard mechanical option is fitted, and a shaft seal is provided to limit ingress.
A spring-applied, electrically released brake holds the rotor during standby and releases at DC 24 V, helping prevent uncommanded motion on vertical loads. Functional safety is integrated through Safe Torque Off (STO), which removes drive energy without delaying fieldbus communication. Torque is transmitted through a plain shaft that simplifies coupling to gearboxes or pulleys, and the active unit size is 071 to match Rexroth mounting flanges.
