The KSM02.1B-071C-24N-M3-HG2-ET-L3-D7-NN-FW is a motor-integrated servo drive from Bosch Rexroth Indramat in the KSM Motor Integrated Servo Drives series. By mounting the drive electronics directly on the motor frame, the unit reduces cabinet space and external wiring. It is a motor-integrated servo drive in Series 2 with a basic performance level for decentralized positioning or speed-control duties on packaging lines, small gantries, and conveyor modules. Because the electronics are mounted on the motor, panel space can be reserved for line supply and control components.
The drive operates from a bus voltage of DC 750 V, allowing it to share a common DC link with other axes. Heat is removed through natural convection, so the housing stays within limits without fans and no separate cooling circuit is required. Position feedback travels over Hiperface, and the capacitive encoder provides 16 signal periods per revolution for interpolated control. Controllers connect through Multi-Ethernet for real-time network communication, and the integrated Safe Torque Off (STO) function disables motor power without opening the mains. This arrangement supports coordinated axis control while keeping command and feedback functions close to the motor.
Power, communication, and brake supply route through a single Hybrid Connector, reducing cable bundles and keeping wiring more compact. The shaft uses size code 071 with a C-length stator, and it has a plain shaft with a shaft seal for compact installations. An electrically released holding brake is energized at DC 24 V during normal operation and engages automatically when power is removed. Multi-turn absolute feedback retains position information across shutdowns, which supports restart behavior in axes that need position retention after power cycling.
