Product Description:
The KSM02.1B-061C-35N-M1-HG0-ET-S3-D7-TO-FW is a motor-integrated servo drive produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the KSM Motor Integrated Servo Drives series. By combining the motor and drive electronics in one enclosure, it shortens cable runs, reduces cabinet hardware, and keeps wiring simpler when several axes are mounted across a machine frame. Its network interface uses Multi-Ethernet to link axes directly to machine controllers, and the matching output coupling passes the bus onward in daisy-chain topologies. This arrangement is useful in layouts where decentralized axes are placed close to conveyors, handling units, or transfer modules.
This unit accepts a DC link of DC 750 V and dissipates heat through natural convection, so no external fan or liquid circuit is required and the housing needs open clearance for free airflow. Power, feedback, and network conductors share a single Hybrid Connector, which reduces connection points and keeps the machine-side interface compact in tight mounting spaces. Rotor position is reported through a Hiperface optical encoder that delivers 128 signal periods per revolution for fine velocity control across the speed range. The unit is design version 1 with Basic performance level and series 2. Motor frame size 061, length code C, and winding code 35 set the housing size and torque-speed behavior for this model.
The encoder stores multi-turn data, providing Multi-turn absolute position information so the drive powers up with immediate positional awareness after a shutdown or restart. A plain shaft interface allows the load to be coupled without keyway backlash, and a shaft seal helps limit dust or coolant ingress during washdown cycles. The Safe Motion channel is classified as Safe Motion (without SBC), and the motor operates without a holding brake. Because no holding brake is installed, any static load retention must come from the drive or external mechanics when power is removed.
