Product Description:

The KSM02.1B-061C-61N-M3-HP2-ET-NN-D7-TO-FW is a motor-integrated servo drive produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the KSM Motor Integrated Servo Drives series. It combines a permanent-magnet servomotor, an inverter, and fieldbus electronics in one housing so the axis can mount directly on the machine. In an automation cell, this configuration provides position, speed, and torque control close to the load, which reduces cabinet heat and simplifies cable routing. The integrated design also reduces cabinet space and supports decentralized machine layouts where individual axes are distributed across the machine frame.

Power is drawn from a shared DC 750 V bus, enabling multiple drives to run from one supply section. All motor power, brake lines, and encoder signals terminate in a single Hybrid Connector, which keeps the connection layout compact around the axis. Internal losses are passed to the ambient air through natural convection, so no fan or liquid fittings are present. The built-in network port provides Multi-Ethernet output coupling, so Sercos III, EtherNet/IP, EtherCAT, or PROFINET can be selected without changing hardware. Motion is secured during shutdown by an electrically released brake energized at DC 24 V, locking the shaft when control power is absent. Using a common DC bus also allows coordinated axes to share available energy during acceleration and deceleration.

Rotor feedback uses Hiperface communication to read a scale of 16 signal periods generated by a capacitive sensor, and the encoder stores Multi-turn absolute position data so the axis can retain position information after a power loss. This unit is design version 1 in series 2 and has basic performance without integrated safety technology. The motor has size 061, length code C, winding code 61, and a shaft with a keyway. A shaft seal is present, allowing direct coupling to gears or pulleys while helping keep contaminants away from internal components.
