Product Description:
The KSM02.1B-076C-35N-M3-HP0-ET-L3-D7-NN-FW is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the KSM Motor Integrated Servo Drives series. It combines drive electronics, a synchronous motor, and decentralized I/O in one enclosure, creating a compact decentralized axis package for automated equipment. This layout places power conversion and motor control at the machine axis instead of in a separate cabinet module. It is identified as design version 1 with a basic performance level. The motor uses length code C and winding code 35, and a standard keyway shaft transfers motion to couplings or pulleys.
The drive accepts a nominal bus of DC 750 V, allowing it to share a common DC link with other axes. Field wiring is reduced by the single Hybrid Connector, which carries power, feedback, and fieldbus on one jacketed cable. Heat is removed by natural convection, so the installation must maintain free airflow around the housing. Integrated Safe Torque Off (STO) disables motor power inside the device when the safety inputs open, helping prevent unintended restart. Position data travels through a Hiperface encoder interface. Its capacitive multi-turn sensor resists magnetic interference and retains absolute position through power cycles. The shaft seal helps limit dust ingress, and the design option for this frame is standard.
Application controllers communicate over Multi-Ethernet ports, supporting EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, or EtherCAT network topologies. The capacitive encoder provides 16 signal periods per revolution, supporting smooth velocity control on the compact 076 frame size. The unit is supplied without a holding brake, so vertical axes require an external clamping device during power loss. Multi-turn absolute feedback stores position across up to 4096 revolutions, so homing is not required after a normal shutdown.
