Product Description:
The Bosch Rexroth Indramat KSM02.1B-071C-35N-M1-HP0-ET-SD-D7-NN-FW is a distributed servo drive with the power electronics mounted directly on the motor. It is part of the KSM Motor Integrated Servo Drives series and combines control, feedback, and power in one housing to reduce cabinet wiring in packaging and assembly lines. The unit has frame size 071, motor length C, standard design version 1, and a basic performance level intended for auxiliary positioning axes.
Power is supplied through a single DC bus that can reach DC 750 V, allowing the device to share energy with adjacent drives over a common supply. Command data and diagnostics travel over Multi-Ethernet channels, so the drive can join EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, or EtherCAT networks without exchange modules. Rotor position is reported through a Hiperface optical encoder, and its signals remain accurate even when the machine is idle because of the integrated multi-turn absolute counting system. Heat is removed by natural convection, eliminating fans and associated maintenance. Mechanical coupling to the load is done through a shaft with keyway, which provides positive torque transfer and simplifies pulley or coupling alignment.
The feedback section resolves the motor angle into 128 signal periods, giving fine speed regulation during low-speed moves. Safe Motion (with SBC) logic lets the controller issue safe stop or limited speed commands without extra relays. For holding applications, the drive is delivered without a holding brake, so an external locking device is required when static torque retention is needed. All power, signal, and communication conductors enter through a hybrid connector, and a shaft seal is fitted to help prevent oil ingress. The winding code 35 identifies the electrical characteristics used by the stator.
