Product Description:
The KSM02.1B-041C-42N-M1-HG0-ET-S3-D7-TO-FW is a motor-integrated servo drive built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the KSM Motor Integrated Servo Drives series. By enclosing power electronics, feedback circuits, and the 041-frame motor in one housing, it simplifies wiring and reduces the amount of external hardware around each axis. This integrated format suits machines that require distributed, precise motion while also keeping cabinet layouts less crowded. It is intended for decentralized axes in packaging, handling, and transfer equipment where short cable runs between the inverter section and the motor are useful.
The drive is supplied from a DC 750 V bus, so it can connect directly to a shared DC link in multi-axis lines. Heat produced by the embedded inverter is removed through natural convection, so no added fans or liquid loops are required. All power, signal, and safety conductors enter through a single hybrid connector, which reduces the number of separate cable entries and helps keep routing straightforward. Position data travels over a Hiperface interface, and rotor angle is resolved into 128 signal periods, supporting stable speed and torque regulation at low velocities. The Safe Motion package operates without SBC and provides certified stop and limited-speed functions with a basic performance level.
For network coupling, the unit offers Multi-Ethernet capability, allowing it to work with different industrial Ethernet protocols through the connected controller. Inside the motor, the feedback disc uses an optical scanning method and a multi-turn absolute encoder, which preserves position information after power loss. The mechanical output is a plain shaft, and a shaft seal is fitted to help limit the entry of coolant or dust. The motor section uses C length and size 041 with winding code 42, comes without a holding brake, and is design version 1 in series 2.
