By combining a synchronous servo motor with its power electronics, the device decentralizes motion control on the machine frame and reduces cabinet wiring. The motor uses a plain shaft, and a shaft seal helps limit fluid ingress along the journal. This arrangement supports direct coupling to external mechanics while preserving position when the axis is not energized.
