Product Description:
The KSM02.1B-041C-42N-M3-HP0-ET-NN-D7-NN-FW is a motor-integrated servo drive produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the KSM Motor Integrated Servo Drives series. By combining a permanent-magnet motor, power electronics, and a network interface in one enclosure, it delivers torque, speed control, and axis feedback for decentralized machine modules. This arrangement reduces cabinet wiring and supports distributed motion nodes in packaging, material-handling, and assembly lines.
Power for the unit is drawn from a bus rated at DC 750 V, so the drive can be connected with other axes on a common intermediate circuit. Electrical and feedback conductors share a single Hybrid connector, which simplifies installation and reduces external connections. Heat is removed by natural convection, so mounting must allow vertical airflow over the ribbed housing. Position data is handled through a Hiperface interface, and this digital link supports communication with Bosch Rexroth and third-party controllers while carrying electronic motor data. The device uses the standard design option, design version 1, and a basic performance level, with motor size 041, length C, and winding code 42. It is supplied without a holding brake.
The feedback stage resolves rotor position to 16 signal periods per mechanical revolution, and the sensor stores absolute angle information through its multi-turn absolute function. Real-time command and diagnostic traffic move over the drive’s Multi-Ethernet master interface, allowing selection among EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, or EtherCAT during setup. On the mechanical side, torque is transmitted through a shaft with keyway, and contamination ingress is reduced by a fitted shaft seal. The unit is built in series 2 with a standard housing for compact decentralized servo applications.
