Product Description:
The KSM02.1B-071C-35N-M3-HP2-ET-NN-D7-NN-FW is a motor-integrated servo drive in the KSM Motor Integrated Servo Drives series from Bosch Rexroth Indramat. It combines a servo motor and drive electronics in one housing, which supports decentralized motion control directly on machine frames and reduces the amount of separate cabinet hardware. The unit uses design version 1 with the Standard option, belongs to Series 2, and is assigned to the Basic performance level. The motor uses size 071 and length C, giving it a compact form for distributed axis applications where integrated drive placement is preferred.
The drive operates from a continuous bus voltage of DC 750 V and routes power, feedback, and fieldbus lines through a single Hybrid Connector. Heat is removed by natural convection, so the housing does not require fan cooling or a liquid circuit. Position feedback is transmitted through a Hiperface interface, and the resolver provides 16 signal periods per electrical revolution with multi-turn absolute capability. The encoder uses capacitive sensing to maintain stable position data in the presence of vibration and contamination. Torque is transferred through a keyway shaft, and a shaft seal is fitted at the output end to help limit ingress.
An electrically released brake rated at DC 24 V holds the axis when the bus is disabled, which is useful for loads that must remain in place at standstill. Network communication is handled through the integrated Multi-Ethernet interface, allowing the unit to work with several Ethernet-based fieldbus protocols without additional hardware changes. The encoder uses a Capacitive measurement principle, which supports stable feedback during machine vibration. This integrated layout also reduces external cabling on the machine frame and keeps the axis hardware compact.
