By combining a permanent-magnet servo motor with decentralized drive electronics, it shortens cable runs and reduces cabinet space in automated assembly cells, packaging stations, and material-handling axes. Power, feedback, and brake circuits are routed directly to the module, which then connects to the plant DC bus and Ethernet network for coordinated motion tasks. This arrangement supports compact machine layouts where distributed drive components are preferred over large centralized control cabinets.
