Product Description:
The KSM02.1B-061C-61N-S1-HG2-ET-L3-D7-NN-FW is a motor-integrated servo drive produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the KSM Motor Integrated Servo Drives series. By combining the motor and controller in a single housing, the unit simplifies cabinet wiring and shortens signal paths in distributed automation cells. It is intended to deliver closed-loop speed and position control to rotary axes on packaging, material-handling, or assembly machines.
Heat is removed through natural convection, so the drive can be mounted without external fans as long as ambient air can circulate around its Size 061 housing. The power stage accepts a bus link of DC 750 V, matching Indramat supply modules in multi-axis systems. All power, feedback, and brake leads exit through a Hybrid Connector, which reduces the number of field-installed plugs. An electrically released holding brake is built in to secure the shaft when power is removed, and it engages automatically at standstill. The unit uses Design Option Standard and Design Version 1, has Performance Level Basic, and belongs to Series 2. Motor length C and winding code 61 set its thermal capacity and torque constant, and a factory-installed shaft seal helps protect the interior against fine dust.
The integrated feedback system uses a Hiperface optical sensor that delivers 128 signal periods per revolution in a single-turn format, providing absolute angle information without external batteries. Real-time commands and diagnostics travel over Multi-Ethernet, so the axis can join EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, or EtherCAT networks without hardware changes. For machine safety, the power stage incorporates Safe Torque Off (STO), allowing motor torque to be removed through certified semiconductor paths. The brake coil is energized with DC 24 V supplied through the hybrid plug, keeping control wiring separate from the high-energy bus. A plain shaft simplifies coupling to gearboxes or pulleys.
