The KSM02.1B-061C-35N-M1-HG2-ET-S3-D7-TO-FW motor integrated servo drive is a new generation drive controller designed by Rexroth Indramat to operate as both a servo motor and a servo drive in industrial production systems. This device features a new technological design that reflects the sophistication of Rexroth Indramat. The KSM02.1B-061C-35N-M1-HG2-ET-S3-D7-TO-FW servo drive is renowned for its flexibility; it can be configured to operate with various industrial machines such as handling and mounting systems, packaging and food machines, printing and paper converting machines, and lots more. The servo drive is designed to be absolutely safe for industrial application; however, dangerous movement can be caused by the software and firmware errors, wrong input of parameters before commissioning, malfunction of sensors and actuators, and wrong wiring connections; it is thus important for the operator to go through the documentation of the servo drive and follow all instructions in the documentation.
The KSM02.1B-061C-35N-M1-HG2-ET-S3-D7-TO-FW motor integrated servo drive is covered with a black RAL9005 paint which offers the device absolute protection from corrosion as it is resistant against seawater, hydraulic oil, dilute acid and dilute alkalines. The motor integrated into this servo drive contains a holding brake that helps it retain load during motor standstill. The motor also features a Hiperface multi-turn absolute optical encoder with 128 signal periods; this encoder converts the physical operation of the motor to electrical data signals, which the control unit of the servo drive can work with.
The heat generated by the motor integrated servo drive is regulated via natural convection; it is thus important for the operator to install the drive in a position that allows for the easy movement of air in and out of the servo drive.
