Product Description:
The KSM02.1B-061C-35N-M1-HG2-ET-S3-D7-TO-FW is a motor-integrated servo drive from Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the KSM Motor Integrated Servo Drives series. By combining a synchronous motor, power stage, and fieldbus interface in one enclosure, the device supports decentralized axis control on packaging, handling, and assembly machines. It delivers closed-loop position, speed, and torque regulation directly on the machine frame, reducing cabinet space and minimizing cable lengths compared with separate drive and motor layouts. This arrangement also reduces the number of external components mounted in the control cabinet and keeps the drive electronics close to the driven axis.
This drive operates from a shared bus at DC 750 V, giving it suitable headroom for high-dynamic motion applications. Power, logic supply, and feedback lines are merged into a single Hybrid Connector, which helps keep machine wiring compact. Thermal energy is removed through natural convection, so no fans or liquid circuits are required. Control communication is based on Multi-Ethernet, allowing the same hardware to operate as an EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, EtherCAT, or Sercos III slave. Rotor position is monitored by a Hiperface optical encoder, which transmits absolute position data at power-up and supports automatic parameter transfer to the connected control system.
The encoder provides 128 signal periods per mechanical turn and includes a multi-turn counter that retains position information after shutdown. A spring-applied, electrically released holding brake secures the axis when the 24 V brake supply is absent. Integrated safety conforms to Safe Motion (without SBC), enabling controlled stop and safe-limited speed when wired to a safety PLC. Mechanical mounting follows motor size 061, and the plain shaft with a shaft seal permits direct coupling to gearboxes or belt pulleys while helping protect the internal bearing area.
