Product Description:
The KSM02.1B-041C-42N-S1-HG2-ET-L3-D7-NN-FW is a motor-integrated servo drive produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the KSM Motor Integrated Servo Drives series. By combining a permanent-magnet motor with an onboard controller, it simplifies wiring in distributed automation lines and delivers axis power directly at the machine frame instead of from a separate cabinet-mounted amplifier. Its performance level is Basic, and the drive is design version 1 with the standard mechanical configuration. This arrangement suits compact axes in packaging, assembly, and transfer equipment where closed-loop positioning accuracy and short cable runs are important.
The drive draws power from a nominal DC 750 V bus and accepts control and power leads through a single Hybrid Connector, which reduces cabinet penetrations and keeps external connections compact. Heat is removed solely by natural convection, eliminating the need for fans or liquid cooling hardware and allowing the housing to dissipate heat without added moving parts. Rotor position feedback is transmitted over the Hiperface interface, and the optical encoder supplies 128 signal periods per revolution for commutation and position control. The motor uses frame size 041 with C length, and it has a plain shaft with a factory-installed shaft seal. The drive uses Series 2 electronics.
An electrically released brake locks the rotor when power is absent and is energized by DC 24 V. For machine safety, the controller includes Safe Torque Off (STO), which disables torque without removing bus power and supports applications that require a controlled prevention of motor drive output. Command traffic for real-time motion coordination is carried over the Multi-Ethernet interface, allowing the unit to operate with supported Ethernet-based control networks used in automated machinery. The stator uses winding code 42, which matches the electrical characteristics assigned to this motor.
