VT-HNC digital axis controllers are programmable NC motion controllers built for closed-loop control of hydraulic axes in industrial machines, with architectures that can also support electromechanical applications depending on system design.
They provide position, velocity, and pressure/force control with defined monitoring functions such as following-error supervision, electronic travel limits, and sensor/encoder fault detection. The controllers accept common position feedback technologies (incremental and absolute digital measuring systems) as well as analog transducer signals, and generate valve-appropriate command outputs as either voltage or current. Integration is supported through scalable onboard I/O and optional communications interfaces used with higher-level PLC/CNC systems, including fieldbus and real-time drive-bus options like PROFIBUS, CAN-based networks, INTERBUS, and SERCOS. Commissioning is PC-based and combines application-specific parameter datasets with user-defined NC sequence programs so motion profiles, mode switching (including combined position/pressure strategies), and diagnostics can be configured and maintained consistently.
