Product Description:
The VT-HNC100-1-14/132 is a digital axis controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the VT-HNC Digital Axis Controllers series. It serves as an electronic command unit for a single hydraulic axis. The controller translates motion profiles from higher-level PLCs into proportional valve currents and processes feedback for closed-loop position or force control in industrial machinery.
The controller draws only 8 W from the 24 V cabinet supply and uses a 16/32-bit MC68376 microprocessor. Program code is stored in 1 MB of flash EPROM, while dynamic data use 256 KB of RAM. An additional 8 KB of EEPROM retains parameter sets through power cycles. The analog current command channels have an input resistance of 100 Ω and a resolution of 5 µA. The analog voltage command channels have an input resistance of 200 kΩ and a resolution of 5 mV. The factory-trimmed bipolar reference source provides ±10 V, and the output stages have a residual ripple of ±60 mV. Analog output stages adjust signals in increments of 1.25 mV, allowing precise proportional valve modulation. The power and logic electronics are part of component Series 1.
Feedback connectivity includes an incremental encoder port that accepts frequencies up to 250 kHz. The port can supply up to 200 mA at 5 V to the connected transducer. An SSI interface supports data words of up to 28 bits, accommodating compatible absolute position sensors. Serial diagnostics are available through RS-232 at 9.6 kbaud. The voltage output reference has a tolerance of ±25 mV, helping maintain stable command signals during closed-loop operation. Axis-specific control software coordinates the command inputs, encoder signals, and analog outputs for an electrohydraulic cylinder or motor. The available memory supports program execution, temporary operating data, and nonvolatile parameter retention without combining these functions into a single storage area. Encoder bandwidth allows the controller to process rapid position changes, while the serial port provides access to operating and diagnostic data.
