Product Description:
Bosch Rexroth Indramat manufactures the VT-HNC100-1-1X-133-DGM001 digital axis controller for the VT-HNC Digital Axis Controllers series. This version is configured for one hydraulic axis, so it fits single-cylinder installations that need precise electronic flow control. Within the Digital NC control HNC100 platform, the device translates numerical setpoints into proportional commands for valves or pumps, delivering closed-loop position and pressure regulation. Embedded analog and serial connections create the electrical bridge between PLCs, sensors, and actuators inside an automation cell.
The controller draws from a supply of 18 to 36 VDC and dissipates only 8 W. Eight analog inputs are present, including four voltage channels that accept ±10 V and four current channels rated for 4 to 20 mA, while the output side offers four voltage and two current channels with the same ranges for drive commands. Internal data handling is supported by 1 MB of flash memory for program storage and parameter tables plus 256 KB of RAM for runtime variables. A 16/32-bit MC68376 microcontroller executes the control loops. The module belongs to component series 1 and is supplied without an inductive position sensor, so external transducers must be wired to the analog or incremental ports.
Feedback channels support incremental encoders up to 250 kHz and a synchronous-serial interface that transfers position words at 28-bit resolution. Configuration and diagnostics are handled through an RS-232 port fixed at 9.6 kbaud. The electronics operate in ambient temperatures from 0 to 50 °C and can be stored between −20 and +70 °C without loss of function. This operating range, together with isolated I/O ranges of ±10 V and 4 to 20 mA, allows the HNC100 axis controller to be installed in standard electrical enclosures near hydraulic manifolds.
